Ramon de Oliveira is the founder and Managing Partner of “RdeO Consulting LLC,” a firm advising corporate executives on both strategy and its communication to a broad range of constituencies. After a 25-year career at JP Morgan, de Oliveira became a director of several public and private companies in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors; he also taught a course on Strategy in Financial Services at both Columbia and NYU business schools. Today, de Oliveira is a director of AXA (the insurance group), Antin Infrastructure (a private equity firm), and is a member of the investment committee of the Polish-American Freedom Fund. At the end of 2021, he retired as chairman of both Equitable and Alliance Bernstein. In 2009, de Oliveira co-founded the Foundation of the Louvre Museum in Paris and chaired its Investment Committee for 10 years. For this work, he was knighted by the French Government as a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres in February 2020. De Oliveira has had a lifelong passion for the Argentinian tango which he practices as often as possible. In 2011, he co-produced with professional dancer Agustina Videla and the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina the show Social Tango that brings together all the facets of this art to the stage. The show is scheduled to tour in North America in 2023.
